I realized a few years ago that I had the power to make things happen in my life. But in order for them to take place, I must really want them, with all my heart. 
It's no longer surprising to me since I recently read the “Law of Attraction ” from Losier. The natural consequence of my realizing this was that I needed to align all aspects of my life so that they corresponded to my deepest aspirations.
Shaping my life the way I want. It's pretty powerful but also pretty scary at times: I am ultimately responsible for whatever happens to me, no ? My life changed completely in about a year: new career, new relationships, new city. Change is always hard, but change is what I thrive for, because in the end, that's what makes us grow.

Apart from these highly spiritual thoughts ;-), I am a very simple person: I like good food, good wine, good times with friends. I like the mountains to hike, the sea to swim or sail. I like putting myself in unfamiliar environments so that I can learn and love new things.
 
Oh yeah, after a successful career in finance, I am now back in school, studying International Development at SAIS Johns Hopkins. I am leaving for Rwanda for a 3 month internship in about a week: this will be a major milestone in my way toward helping other people… Then another year of school and then I will spend several years in Africa or Latin America…
